Your rates
As part of being a property owner, there are additional responsibilities which include ensuring that your annual rates are paid as shown on your rate notice.
Your rates continue to provide the City with part of the revenue needed to manage all the services and facilities which make the City an attractive place to live. Some of these things include parks infrastructure, library services, security and emergency services, recreation and culture, waste and sanitation, building infrastructure, transport infrastructure, environmental projects, planning and regulatory services, and youth, family and aged services.
The Annual rates notices will be issued in late July.
If you have not received your rates by 6 August 2024, please contact the rates team.
Council is again offering a 5% discount on your rate component simply by paying your rates by the due date. To be fair to all ratepayers, please ensure that you pay by the due date to be eligible for either the discount or be eligible for an instalment option as shown on your rate notice. Please refer to your rate notice for further information.
Differential rates 2024-2025
