Your rates
As part of being a property owner, there are additional responsibilities which include ensuring that your annual rates are paid as shown on your rate notice. Each year the City issues the rates in August with a due date 35 days later in September.
Your rates provide the City with part of the revenue needed to manage all the services and facilities which make the City an attractive place to live. These include the paths you walk or ride along every day, upkeeping of the parks, recreational grounds, playgrounds and barbecue areas available for you and your families to use.
