If you are running a food-based business, you and anybody working for you will need to have food safety and food hygiene skills and knowledge. The level of skills and knowledge you need must be appropriate to the food handling activities in your business.

FoodSafe offers an online food safety training course – and you can use a voucher code from the City to access this course for free. Please follow these instructions:
 

1. Visit the FoodSafe website 
2. Choose the language you want to complete the course in
3. Select ‘Add to cart’
4. Select ‘Add a coupon’ on the right hand side
5. Enter voucher code FSBELMO313 (note: the O is the letter, not a zero)
6.  Select ‘Apply’ This should take the total from $35.00 to $0.00
7.  Select ‘Proceed to Checkout’
8.  Enter your details in all required areas.
9.  Select ‘Place Order’
10.  The site will then take you directly to your training course to complete

Once you have successfully completed the course, you will receive a printable FoodSafe certificate for your records.​
