If you know of a local business which has taken action to be more environmentally sustainable, you could nominate them to be recognised. Businesses can also apply directly if they want to be recognised for the great work they have done.

Businesses located in the City of Belmont are eligible to apply for the Switched on Business Awards because of the partnership between the City and Switch Your Thinking. 

How to nominate a business

Nominations for the Switched on Business Awards are open twice a year. After the nominations are complete, one successful business from a Switch Your Thinking participating council is recognised and celebrated for their efforts to be more sustainable.

Winners will receive a framed certificate which is presented by a Councillor from the local government at an official event. If you are the winner, your business will be acknowledged on the Switch Your Thinking website, Facebook and LinkedIn pages and the e-newsletters.
