KidSport makes it possible for children and young people in WA to get involved in community sport and recreation, regardless of their financial circumstances. Here are some details:
 

• Children and young people between 5 and 18 years of age could be eligible for financial assistance.
• Funding of up to $300 per eligible child each financial year.
• Funding can also be used towards eligible uniforms and/or equipment.
• KidSport is delivered by the State Government's Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport in partnership with local governments throughout Western Australia and is supported by Lotterywest.

 

How to apply for help with children’s sporting fees

If you live in the City of Belmont and hold a valid Health Care Card, you can apply for KidSport online or visit the Civic Centre to apply at the front counter.
