Policies and standards
Council adopts a range of policies and standards to help guide operations and decision-making in the City of Belmont.
By following policies and standards, Council can provide consistent and fair decision-making. These documents are reviewed regularly to make sure that they reflect current practice and conditions.
Please note: Policies are currently in the process of being converted to the City’s new template. Some policies are still on the old template, however policies will be on the new template by the end of this year. All policies will be reviewed on biennially.
The Standards for CEO Recruitment, Performance and Termination is a new document adopted at the 22 June 2021 Ordinary Council Meeting in accordance with s.5.39(B) of the Local Government Act 1995.
