The City of Belmont hits “Rewind” on local history and heritage with a 2-month festival, perfect for the whole family.
City of Belmont: Rewind is a local history festival from 31 March to 26 May, packed with events for the whole family at Belmont Museum.
This year's theme is “Shared Stories” showcasing the diverse and rich history of our community through interactive exhibits, engaging presentations, and hands-on activities for all ages.
The theme invites City of Belmont residents to uncover Australia’s layered history by sharing stories of our natural, cultural, built, and Aboriginal heritage.
Our extended festival line-up provides a great opportunity for the community to come together and learn about our shared past, all while having fun!
There will be a range of engaging activities for children and families to enjoy, including the hands-on workshops, presentations from local experts and historians.
The new exhibition is now open! Visit Belmont Museum to explore hands-on exhibits and stories that highlight how travel through our City has changed.
