An extraordinary election will be held to fill a vacancy in the South Ward on 21 June 2024. We are holding a Candidate Information Session for people thinking of nominating to run in the election.
The information session will be held prior to our April Council Meeting, and will cover the nomination process, the roles and responsibilities of a councillor, and the positive impact you can make on your local community, followed by a Council Meeting to see Elected Members in action.
Light refreshments will be provided.
You must be eligible to vote in the City of Belmont local government elections to nominate. Nominations will be open from 1 May to 8 May 2024.
