Sri Chinmoy’s ‘Dream-Freedom-Peace-Birds’
This month the Artist’s Place exhibition is showcasing a gallery of Sri Chinmoy’s ‘Dream-Freedom-Peace-Birds’. His art is full colour and positivity, and his exhibitions aim to inspire and uplift the viewer.
"(the bird) knows no boundaries. It is a messenger of peace and freedom, born in the garden of the soul and taking flight in the heart."
Sri Chinmoy's art has drawn comments from humanitarians across the world including Nelson Mandela and Mother Teresa.
This installation can be viewed on the second floor of Ruth Faulkner Library. As a celebration of Peace Day on September 21, the exhibition will run until 11 November.
